By booking or using any service from Shard's Skate School (including 1:1 Video Analysis and Live 1:1 Virtual Coaching), you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting a request.
1. Service Scope
Shard's Skate School provides expert, structured, and personalised skating support through 1:1 Video Analysis and Live 1:1 Virtual Coaching. By engaging with our services, you agree to these terms.
What this means: These terms apply to everything I offer. By booking a session or submitting a video, you're agreeing to how the service works.
2. Safety & Responsibility
Shard's Skate School provides educational skating guidance and is not a medical, physiotherapy, or mental health service. Your safety is your responsibility. By participating, you acknowledge that roller skating involves inherent risks of injury, and you participate at your own risk. Please ensure you skate in a safe, appropriate environment.
What this means: Skating has risks. Please skate sensibly and in a safe space. Your safety on skates is your responsibility.
3. Our Commitment & Results
Shard's Skate School is committed to providing expert, structured, and personalised skating support. However, we cannot guarantee specific results or progress as a result of using our services.
What this means: I am committed to providing you with guidance and support. However, I cannot make any promises about the specific results or level of improvement you will achieve.
4. Payments & Cancellations
All payments must be made in full before a service is delivered.
- Video Analysis: Once work has commenced on your feedback video, the service is non-refundable as time and effort have already been dedicated to your request.
- Live Coaching: If you need to reschedule a session, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. With at least 48 hours' notice, we can reschedule your session to a new time that suits you, provided the rescheduled session takes place within 60 days of your original booking date. If you cancel within 48 hours or do not show up, the session fee is non-refundable as the time has been reserved specifically for you.
What this means: For video analysis, I cannot offer a refund once I have started the analysis process. For live coaching, I understand that life is unpredictable; if you give me 48 hours' notice, I'm happy to help you reschedule your session. However, if a cancellation occurs last minute, I'm unable to offer a refund or reschedule for that reserved time.
5. Intellectual Property
All feedback videos, coaching notes, and educational materials provided to you are the intellectual property of Shard's Skate School. These are for your personal, private use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed publicly without express permission.
What this means: The feedback videos and notes I create are mine to give to you, but they're for you only. Please don't share them publicly without asking me first.
6. Marketing & Content Use
Completed video analysis content and live coaching session recordings may be used by Shard's Skate School for marketing and educational purposes. You can opt out by notifying Shard's Skate School in writing before your analysis or session begins.
What this means: I may use completed analysis content and session recordings to help other skaters learn or to show examples of my work. If you'd prefer I didn't use yours, just let me know in writing before I start your analysis or session.
